The 16th World Film Festival of Bangkok festival opens with a celebration of cinematic achievement from Southeast Asian cinema, featuring the Thai film ‘Regretfully at Dawn’, directed by Sivaroj Kongsakul. After premiering in Europe and Asia, the film will be shown in Thailand for the first time at the 16th World Film Festival of Bangkok.

The festival concludes with a special closing celebration after 11 days of intense 

cinematic experiences. This year’s final screening presents ‘Grand Tour’, directed by the renowned Miguel Gomes, featuring award-winning Thai cinematographer Sayombhu Mukdeeprom. Embark on an extraordinary journey through the Far-East, revisiting a beautiful past while immersing in a story deeply rooted in the region including Thailand. This screening marks the film’s highly anticipated premiere in Thailand, offering a memorable close to the festival.
