Meet rerunn.tribe, the guest artist of WFFB this year!

Runn Charksmithanont (Fin) an independent artist under the name Rerunn.tribe, is the creator of the work “The Boy on the Lotus Leaf,” one of the characters from the series “The Surma” which showcases the body adornment culture and the beautiful attire of the Surma tribe from Ethiopia. RERUNN starts from a passion for tribal cultures that are often overlooked or have disappeared. He draws inspiration from these cultures to present them anew, beginning with sketches and moving to 3D works, sculptures and paintings. By blending concepts and artistic techniques without limiting forms. RERUNN’s works can convey a vision of the future filled with diverse moments harmoniously. Additionally, his works create space for viewers to interpret and imagine new things together. RERUNN has been selected to exhibit works at the Bangkok Illustration Fair 2023 and 2024, as well as the Designer Toy Tainan in Taiwan alongside artists from various countries.
